I don’t really know what to say. Sunsets are always cool to watch, and when a camera is in hand it is just to easy to capture. A simple tree, standing out in a field, all of a sudden becomes a piece of a memory and I get to capture it forever. Now that’s just cool.
You know that feeling you get, when you have a number of things on your mind that seem to simply consume your thoughts? You know what I’m talking about, thoughts so deep that your entire focus shifts to all these pressing matters and keeps you from completing more important tasks. We all have experienced it, and we all deal with matters in different ways. When these things happens, sometimes and to coin the old phrase, Go to Your Happy Place, is all that is required to bring back some clarity. If nothing else if you allow yourself to take in the scene, it just may leave you with a better outlook. I think everyone has a happy place and this location and image, I could clearly see as being on of these places.
In closing, I understand we live in a world full of problems. Do we create these problems, or are we subject to an environment created by the world we live in?
Going over some images, it seemingly started the wheels spinning. My blog is generally all about images and maybe some thoughts every now and again, but recent events have led to some turmoil and that has left me a little uninspired.
Here is a photo that is kind of significant of my mind-set at this time.
Building a Home
This Osprey has flown many miles to create his home, and his hard work is appreciated by his own virtue. Far too often, circumstances that are beyond his control interfere with his very natural instinct to provide for himself and his potential mate. Although these things are out of his control, he will still endure the trials of nature to do what his instincts tell him. How this compares to human beings. We talk and communicate. Although some do it better, we still have feelings, and we are supposed to be civilized, and we are supposed to be compassionate. When disagreements occur, it’s never a good thing, but we are supposed to work together to a resolution. Supposed to. That is the key words. Unlike nature, we so-called civilized human beings have a choice in life and our choices have repercussions. unfortunately, some people just don’t care about how others may feel or the repercussions of actions. This in turn leads to a whole new road of problems. We often times can see the realities of nature and just how cruel it can be. In nature however, the balance always exists unlike in the world of the human animal.
Ok just a quick post. My apologies for my lack of reading as of late. I generally like to have a look around and like what I see on WP. Simply, I work 14 hours a day, and trying to maintain all this social media can be tough.
So if any is slighted, I’m sorry, but for now A man has to do what a man has to do.
May you find your lives blessed, and be aware, I am watching.
The State of West Virginia, is a place that is very near and dear to my heart. I can say that is likely because of all the fond memories and experiences I had there when we would go visit family as kids. My Aunt’s, Uncles and Cousins were always just fun to be around. Yes, a very special place indeed.
Some of the most scenic land in the country, can be found right here and here is just an example. Unsure of the name at this time, this mountain falls can be found outside of Fayetteville, West Virginia, and it is a place that offers just a serene, pleasant environment.
I shot this image in HDR , with the intent on capturing all the details. Hope you take away from the image the same feeling I do after viewing it.
